Menu Items
What each item in the Magic Reports menu in Google Sheets does.
In your Google Sheet, once Magic Reports is installed, its items are under Extensions > Magic Reports. Here is what each one does.
| Item | What it does |

| Launch Sidebar | Opens the sidebar to create a new report: pick connector, connection, property, metrics/dimensions (or the dedicated form for connectors that have one), filters and sorting. It is also where you manage connections to the various services. |
| Run reports | Runs the reports present in the "Magic Reports Configuration" sheet: refreshes the data for every report not set to "Skip", writing each result into its own sheet. |
| Edit report | Opens a window to pick an existing report and edit its configuration (the same sidebar used to create it, pre-filled with the already-saved values). |
| Schedule reports | Opens the window to set up automatic report execution, at regular intervals (every two hours, daily, weekly on a chosen day, or monthly on a chosen day of the month), without having to run "Run reports" by hand every time. |
| Template Gallery | Opens a collection of ready-made reports (templates) you can add to your sheet with one click, instead of configuring them from scratch. |
| Update template | Updates a report you had created from a template, aligning it with a possibly newer version of that same template. |
| Import from GA4 Magic Reports | If you also use GA4 Magic Reports (the free, Google-Analytics-4-only version), import the report configurations you already built there instead of recreating them by hand. |
