Google AdSense

Ad earnings and traffic data from your Google AdSense account.

The Google AdSense connector brings your account's ad earnings and traffic data into the sheet: estimated earnings, impressions, clicks, RPM, CTR and ad viewability.

The report currency defaults to USD: if you want a different currency you can specify it in the report configuration.

Full official reference: metrics and dimensions.

Limiti noti

  • Filters, sorting, offset and limit: all supported
The connector supports metric and dimension filters (with real AND/OR within each group), sorting and pagination (Offset/Limit): all of this is applied after downloading the data from the AdSense API, not on Google's server side.
  • With filters active, more rows are downloaded than strictly needed (with a cap)
When you use a filter, the connector downloads more rows than requested by Offset/Limit (an automatically calculated margin) so it does not risk discarding rows that would pass the filter. The number of rows downloaded in a single call never exceeds 50,000 (an AdSense API limit) though: with very large datasets and very selective filters, in extreme cases some rows matching the filter beyond this cap might not appear.
  • Totals for ratio/average metrics are recalculated, not summed
Metrics like Page RPM, Page CTR, Impression RPM/CTR and Cost Per Click are not summed row by row in the totals row: they are recalculated from the aggregated values of the metrics they depend on (e.g. earnings and impressions), the same way the AdSense dashboard itself would compute them.
